Not having run Windows for a very long time now, the lack of a client for anything other than windows obviously causes some difficulty.

So today was the day I finally bottled my elderflower cider. Inital tasting is good but not as great as last years but I will let it chill and settle a bit before final judgement. 6% at a total cost of £1.45 / litre I'm still not going to complain when its easing the heat of the India summer we are going to have.

Another quick one because I keep forgetting the exact syntax, renaming lots of files from the command line

As a few of you know I was very lucky to be one of the first here in the UK to get a RaspberryPi (for those of you that have no idea what I'm talking about, its a very small low power computer, look back in the archives). At that point there was a distro but it wasn't the one they wanted to release. Also people were busy cross compiling anything and everything they needed to get things into the package tree.

Why am I putting this here you might ask? Well its something that has been in and out of my script numerous times and each time I have to look it up so thought I would drop it here where I can find it every time. Also I'm hoping that by tying it in here I will remember and never have to come back anyway!!
